(We're broadcast only. )

Did the Mar 2011 firmware update and incredibly the television came back on. Thrilled ....then it failed again a few hours later and hasn't revived.

Tuner replacement will cost approx $800 parts & labor, and requires removing the huge set from house to repair shop. Any suggestions?

Should we just switch to cable and leave the tuner unworking?

I went through all the steps of appealing to Pioneer, including a carefully composed letter, and was utterly dismissed by a functionary of the company.

Purchased the set at Magnolia to support local business, then it closed up shop!

Appreciate any suggestions on an approach to repair. Thank you.Helainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02578709795816395122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6405024477476711234.post-83207746628808305042011-04-02T07:51:21.696-07:002011-04-02T07:51:21.696-07:00Pioneer reports a new firmware 0907-0401 Any idea ...Pioneer reports a new firmware 0907-0401 Any idea what is differnt in this firmware?
